I have just started my PhD exploring the effects of maternal medication on the fetal epigenome during pregnancy. In particular, I will explore the effect on fetal germ cells and the possibility of transgenerational inheritance via alteration of the germline epigenome.
Before my PhD, I carried out 2 summer studentship projects relating to miscarriage and assisted reproductive technologies, which sparked my interest in fertility and reproduction. Since, I have developed interests in pregnancy and fetal and maternal health.
