Cambridge Reproduction

In June 2025, we introduced a research theme framework, as a way of bringing together and organising our membership. The framework is designed to:

  • enable members to shape Cambridge Reproduction’s strategic priorities at a grassroots level;
  • stimulate new, cross-disciplinary collaborations and funding applications;
  • bring researchers together to create impact and engagement outside academia;
  • intersect with our funding schemes, events and other activities.

The framework has three broad thematic areas that intersect with three cross-cutting contextual challenges:

The framework was introduced after a 3-month consultation of the Cambridge Reproduction membership. You can find out more about the consultation proposal and read the final report on our website.

Sign up for our themes and challenges!

We are inviting Cambridge Reproduction members to sign up for our research themes and challenges. We’ll use the sign-ups to build communities of researchers who are aligned with each theme or challenge.

You can express an interest in more than one theme or challenge, but we recommend that you only select those that are most relevant to your research interests. You’ll hear about all theme events through our mailing list, so you can still take part in activities from other research themes, even if you have not signed up for them.

If you have any questions about the introduction of the research theme framework, or if you would like to discuss the possibility of becoming involved, please contact the Programme Manager, Christina Rozeik.
