Within the lab of Dr. Hughes, at the Department of Veterinary Medicine, my research focusses on epithelial proliferation and immune cell interactions during the postnatal development of the mammary gland. I examine specific developmental stages such as pregnancy, lactation and post-lactational regression, utilising non-traditional species like sheep and rabbits.
