Cambridge Reproduction

Macrophages and dendritic cells play a key role in mediating tissue homeostasis and regulating the immune response to pathogens.

The focus of the laboratory is to understand the role of macrophages and dendritic cells within fetal membranes (e.g. placenta) and reproductive organs (e.g. decidua), and how these unique environments dictate their immune functions.

To address our research goals we use a combination of tools such as sc RNAseq, advanced flow cytometry and confocal microscopy.
