As a recent medicine graduate and an aspiring physician-scientist, I wish to contribute to improving women's health by integrating my medical background with fundamental research. I am interested in extra-embryonic lineage differentiation and obstetric complications stemming from defective placentation. This year, for my MPhil in Biological Sciences, Reproduction and Embryogenesis pathway, I am working on a microfluidic-based human stem cell model to elucidate the mechanisms of amnion and embryonic disc formation as part of the Boroviak Lab.
