My interests include the engineering, historical, and philosophical issues around sexual health technologies and contraceptive technologies.
Prior to beginning my PhD in healthcare system risk, I spent three years developing tools for the advancement of sexual medicine in conjunction with San Diego Sexual Medicine institute. Projects included surgical simulators capturing advancements in vestibulectomy and pelvic nerve surgery, as well as the design of educational tools on embryological genital and neuro-genital tissue development.
