I am a professional with expertise in gender, local governance, women empowerment, climate change and Sexual and reproductive health and rights of women, sustainable development. My work focuses on the inter-linkages between climate change, gender, non-economic loss and damage, and sustainable development in South Asia, particularly in Bangladesh. I have experience as a guest lecturer in the Climate Change and Development (CCD) MSc Program at the Independent University, Bangladesh, and currently hold the position of Lead of Climate Change and Health at the International center for climate change and development (ICCCAD).
