Dafni joined Durham Law School as Assistant Professor in 2022. Her research interests lie primarily in comparative family law and human rights, with a particular focus on parenthood and assisted reproduction.
Dafni has written extensively on topics in family law and human rights, including comparative family law, multiple parenthood, surrogacy and assisted reproduction, LGBT+ families, and non-marital relationships. This is currently the main focus of her research. She has presented her work in numerous conferences, including the SLS, ISFL, CEFL, and LSA annual conferences.
