Are you passionate about interdisciplinary research and collaborative working? Do you have creative ideas for how we can advance our research themes and increase cross-disciplinary exchange? Would you like to help shape the vision and strategy of Cambridge Reproduction?
If so, then apply to become a theme or challenge lead today!
We are looking for people to help us develop and lead our new research theme framework! There are two opportunities available:
Theme leads
We are looking for between 2 and 4 people to lead each of the three broad thematic areas in our framework:
- Individuals, families and populations
- Health and wellbeing across generations
- Past, present and future of reproduction
The leads for each theme will work together to develop a vision and activities relating to that theme. They will serve a 2-year term in the first instance.
Full details of the call are in the document below. The deadline for applications is 18 July 2025. The new theme leads will be notified by 1 September. Theme leads will meet during September and October, and will present plans for their themes at the Forum on 22 October.
If you have any questions about the research themes, or about your application, please contact Christina Rozeik, Cambridge Reproduction Programme Manager.
Challenge leads
We are looking for a person to lead each of the three cross-cutting challenges in our framework:
- Reproductive justice
- Climate change
- Policy, ethics and society
Challenge leads will work with the theme leads and with the Cambridge Reproduction Steering Committee and Executive Committee to ensure that these contextual challenges are embedded throughout the Cambridge Reproduction programme. They will serve a 2-year term in the first instance.
Full details of the call are in the document below. The deadline for applications is 18 July 2025. The new challenge leads will be notified by 1 September. Challenge leads will meet with the Executive Committee during September and October to discuss plans and ideas.
