8th ReproSoc Annual Public Lecture (Emily Jackson)

external event

Wednesday 23 November, 5 - 6.30pm

The Pitt Building, Trumpington Street

In this lecture, Professor Emily Jackson will revisit some of the themes of her 2001 book Regulating Reproduction: Law, Technology and Autonomy, in which she argued that women’s reproductive autonomy should be better protected by the law. Have things improved over the last 21 years, or has there been one step forwards and two steps backwards?

The lecture will be followed by a reception and a book launch of publications by ReproSoc members.

Date:
Wednesday, 23 November, 2022 - 17:00 to 18:30
Event location:
