I have worked on the duration of post-partum amenorrhea in Bangladesh with Dr Lyliane Rosetta CNRS, Paris. We researched in the tea gardens in northern Bangladesh and showed that in tea pluckers that the median duration was 90 weeks and in non pluckers about 60 weeks. In Dhaka the duration was only 24 weeks. I have also studied age at menarche and aspects of menopause with Hungarian colleagues.
