My work focusses on combining surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS) and electrochemistry to detect very low concentrations of biomarkers in bodily fluids. I hope to apply this technique to the detection of metabolites in spent embryo culture media to non-invasively monitor embryo health.
