I am a Senior Scientific Associate at the VISION lab at Cancer Research UK Cambridge Institute. My current research focuses on the role of metabolism and angiogenesis in pathogenesis, especially in breast and ovarian cancer. To determine this, I use photoacoustic imaging and multi-omics approaches.
I have long been fascinated by reproductive health and have recently started looking into the development of endometriosis and its link with ovarian and endometrial cancer. My overarching goal is to determine how metabolic adaptations alter tissue microenvironment and allow for malignant transformation.
