Cambridge Reproduction

The aims of this conference are to bring together researchers working on observations of fetal programming in humans and farm animals with evolutionary biologists working on maternal effects and phenotypic plasticity in response to environmental stresses in diverse organisms ranging from plants to insects, to vertebrates. More specifically, this conference will aim to compare the mechanisms underlying observations of intergenerational change with hopes of identifying conserved themes.

We already have a number of great confirmed speakers working fetal programming and the developmental origins of obesity including Kent Thornburg (University of Oregon), Anne Ferguson-Smith (University of Cambridge), Sue Ozanne (University of Cambridge), Tessa Roseboom (University of Amsterdam), Andrew Pospisilik (Van Andel Institue), Tracy Bale (University of Maryland) Dino Giussani (University of Cambridge) and more.
