We are looking for new members of our Steering Committee, who can help to shape the future direction of Cambridge Reproduction:

  • Two Postgraduate Student Representatives, who will serve for one year, with the possibility of re-appointment for one period of one year.

What is the Steering Committee?
The Steering Committee advises the Executive Committee on all aspects of the programme, policy, activities and future directions of Cambridge, and in particular ensures that all communities comprising Cambridge Reproduction are properly represented and informed.

What would these new members do?
The Steering Committee meets three times per year (once in each term), and carries out additional discussions by email. Steering Committee members may also be called on to help with planning events or other activities, or to help draft materials relating to our vision and strategy. We are particularly keen to hear from candidates who have ideas for future Cambridge Reproduction activities, and who have the energy and enthusiasm to make these happen!

Why have these posts been created?
We are really keen to make sure that the Steering Committee is able to represent the reproduction research community in Cambridge as fully as possible. Because of this, we have reserved some posts for early career researchers, to make sure we can respond to their particular concerns and interests.

Sounds great! How do I apply?
Send your CV, with a brief paragraph explaining why you would like to apply and whether there are any areas that you would particularly like to get involved with, to Christina Rozeik (coordinator@repro.cam.ac.uk) by Monday 30 October 2023.

Any questions?
Simply email coordinator@repro.cam.ac.uk with questions, or to arrange a quick chat about these posts.
