Tim researches biological rhythms, with a focus on analysing daily and seasonal rhythms in vertebrates using a comparative omics approach. Our current research is on seasonal changes to daily rhythms of transcription in embryos using zebrafish as a model for human photoperiodism. We use a variety of techniques including RNA-seq and CRISPR to take a functional approach to drivers of seasonal rhythms.
