Dr Susan Imrie

I am a developmental psychologist interested in family functioning in new family forms, with a focus on parent-child relationship quality, child development and children’s perceptions of their families.  I am currently carrying out research with trans parent families in the UK and families created through fertility treatment.  I have also studied the experiences and psychological well-being of surrogates in the UK.
