Dr Michalina Drejza

I am a Visiting Fellow in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Specialty Registrar, Community Sexual and Reproductive Health, working on my postdoctoral research in paediatric and adolescent gynaecology and sexual and reproductive health and rights in Poland.

I completed my PhD in Obstetrics and Gynaecology looking at interdisciplinary associations between reproductive health, menstruation, mental health and lifestyle in adolescent girls in Poland. 

I have been involved in leadership roles within global health spaces. I am currently chairing the RCOG Global Health Trainees' Committee and serving as President of Polish Society of Sexual and Reproductive Health and Advisor at the Polish Ministry of Health Department of Health Equity. I also worked as a consultant in the Human Reproduction Team at the WHO Department of Reproductive Health and Research working on the WHO Consolidated Guideline on Self-Care Interventions for SRHR and served on the WHO Guideline Development Groups for Abortion Care Guideline and Medical Eligibility Criteria for Contraception.
