As an MPhil student in Human Evolutionary Studies, I have particular interests in issues of reproduction concerning biological anthropology - life history reproductive traits, reproductive fitness, sexual selection, parenting etc. I also have an undergraduate grounding in anthropology more generally and have been fascinated by papers I have taken concerning the anthropology of reproduction more generally, so am interested in this social aspect too. I am going to be conducting my dissertation on the topic of health discrepancies between populations as understood by their genetic differences, and I am also interested in aspects of reproduction focusing on maternal health.
