Cambridge Reproduction

I undertake my PhD on the Gates Cambridge Scholarship Programme in the Martinez-Arias lab. My research interest lies in understanding the role of morphogens in cell fate specification and patterning in early human development. To investigate this, I apply various different molecules to either activate or inhibit major signaling pathways, including Wnt and BMP in order to assess their role in the development of an in-vitro model of early anteroposterior organisation during human development, called human gastruloids.
