About
My PhD research at the Babraham Institute focuses on non-canonical autophagy in iPSC models of neurodegeneration. I'm using CRISPR gene editing to dissect CASM mechanisms in lysosomal quality control, their effect on neuronal resilience and their therapeutic potential in the context of neurodegenerative diseases.
Beyond my current project, I'm drawn to research that bridges cellular mechanisms with translational impact. I'm increasingly focused on ovarian ageing and women's longevity research, applying the same mechanistic rigour to female-specific biological processes and developing interventions that actually work for women's health.
