About
I am an MPhil student in the Reproduction and Embryogenesis pathway, conducting my research project under the supervision of Dr Geraldine Jowett. My project focuses on investigating the role of biomechanical forces in gametogenesis. I am particularly passionate about advancing assistive reproductive technologies, especially in relation to the LGBTQ+ community. Additionally, my academic interests extend to immunology in pregnancy, with a specific focus on the interaction between the pregnant person’s immune system and the embryo; I would like to explore the mechanisms behind pre-eclampsia and the underlying causes of this pregnancy-related condition.
